Our INQ INQ1 Review
Every now and then a mobile phone comes onto the market that is very different from anything that has come before.
And the INQ 1 from 3 is just such a phone. The INQ 1 is unashamedly aimed at people who love social networking sites – Facebook in particular. So if you are a member you won’t need to go on your computer to check out what’s happening any more; your mobile phone will help you stay in touch.
As far as its appearance goes, the INQ 1 (pronounced ink one) is slick and modern looking. Its rounded corners and sliding handset make it nice and comfortable to use and hold, while the 2.2 inch screen is plenty big enough to show you what you want to see when you go online. This phone is really being touted as the replacement for the Skypephone S2, and it does well to enhance everything that the previous model did so well.
There’s an onboard 3.2 megapixel camera, so you can send your friends the best pictures you take, and the browser is perfect for surfing the web. The main reason for this is that you can turn the phone and the orientation will change to allow you to see whatever you are viewing in landscape or portrait – whichever is easiest for you.
The 50 megabyte internal memory is pretty good for starters, but when you realise you can boost this by an impressive 4 gigabytes externally, you’ll see what a great phone this really is.
And there’s no stopping you if you happen to use Windows Live Messenger or Skype either. The INQ 1 from 3 is designed to handle both of these with ease, so you’ll always be able to stay in touch easily. In fact, the mobile phone element might just be the last thing you will use.
All in all, a great buy for a great handset – and you’ll forever be finding new ways to personalise it just for you.

Mr Megson submitted on 14 October 2009When I first saw INQ, I was plain curious as I've never heard of such a brand. The phone is funky cool, after giving it a test drive, I absolutely fell in love and didn't disappoint so far
Diana submitted on 5 October 2009my favourite thing about this is the battery life, as I've suffered with handsets that don't last much, but this one is great… would recommend to anyone who's plain lazy to charge his handset everyday :)
